Tuin van Keet – 14 is a cabin for four people in Oud Ade. Compact and cosy, with a practical layout. The Tiny House is situated in the small-scale park De Tuin van Keet, in a green and water-rich part of the Randstad.

Hop on the little ferry at Buitenkaag to the island of Kaag and stroll past the village centre and the harbour. Grab lunch or dinner by the water at Restaurant Tante Kee. In July, watch the Kaagweek sailing races from the quay.

Rent a sloop at Olympia Charters in Warmond and cruise via ’t Joppe onto the Kagerplassen. Glide past the reed beds around De Kaag and moor at recreation area Koudenhoorn for a short walk or picnic.

Plan an afternoon in Leiden: visit Museum De Lakenhal, then wander the Saturday market on the Nieuwe Rijn for cheese and fresh stroopwafels. Finish with coffee or drinks at Lot en de Walvis by the harbour.

You’ll be staying in Oud Ade, a village in South Holland within the municipality of Kaag en Braassem. It’s a water-rich region with lakes, canals and polders. From here, you can take to the water at the Kagerplassen or the Braassemermeer, ideal for sailing, stand-up paddleboarding or a trip in a sloop. Prefer to stay on dry land? Then walk or cycle along quiet dykes and polder roads towards Warmond and Kaageiland. Katwijk beach is a 20-minute drive away.

Places worth visiting include Leiden with its historic centre, around 8 km away. Warmond is approximately 4 km away, Kaageiland 6 km and Roelofarendsveen about 7 km.

Park in the rear of the park in spaces numbered 9 to 40, next to the cottage number. There are also visitor parking spaces at the rear of the park, near the woods. The spaces next to the homes are for loading and unloading only. Store your bikes by the Tiny House. Pets are not allowed. For all other practical details, including arrival and access, check your Boarding Pass.

The cabin exudes a relaxed, homely atmosphere, with the living and dining areas flowing seamlessly into one another.

The kitchen is located in the hallway and is equipped with crockery, kitchen utensils, a dishwasher, fridge, freezer, oven and microwave. Right next to it is the cosy dining area with a bench, perfect for long breakfasts and evenings spent at the table.

The master bedroom features a double bed and a wardrobe with storage space. The second bedroom has a bunk bed. Bed linen and towels are provided. The property has one bathroom. For laundry, you can use the washing machine in the communal area.

Large sliding doors lead straight out into the garden, creating a pleasant connection between indoors and outdoors.

Please note that Tuin van Keet is a newly developed park. The park is largely completed and already offers a wonderful place to relax, surrounded by nature. As all greenery has been recently planted, the park will continue to become even greener, fuller, and more beautiful over time.

During your stay, feel free to enjoy the park’s shared facilities, including the communal space, natural playground, panna field, fire pit, BBQ area, vegetable garden, and picking garden. This way, you can fully experience the outdoor lifestyle and relaxed atmosphere of Tuin van Keet.

• Additional: 🚫 Bedrijven en werknemers - Bedrijfsverblijven of werknemershuisvesting zijn uitdrukkelijk verboden. - Indien vastgesteld wordt dat werknemers of bedrijfsbussen aanwezig zijn, geldt een boete van €200 per nacht en dient men de woning binnen 24 uur te verlaten. - De verhuurder behoudt zich het recht voor om dit te controleren via observatie of melding van omwonenden. 💼 Gebruik en toegestane gasten - De woning mag uitsluitend voor recreatief gebruik worden gebruikt, niet voor permanente bewoning of zakelijke doeleinden. - Alleen de in de boeking opgegeven personen mogen in de woning verblijven. - Doorverhuur of onderverhuur is niet toegestaan zonder schriftelijke toestemming van de verhuurder. 🏡 Gedrag en omgeving - Rusttijden: geen overmatig lawaai tussen 22.00 en 08.00 uur (geluidsnormen vakantiepark/gemeente). - Respecteer de buren en omgeving; geen feesten of evenementen zonder toestemming. - Roken is niet toegestaan in de woning. - Huisdieren alleen toegestaan als dit bij boeking expliciet is vermeld. 🧹 Onderhoud en schade - De huurder is verplicht de woning netjes achter te laten; extra schoonmaakkosten kunnen worden ingehouden bij overmatige vervuiling. - Eventuele schade of gebreken moeten direct worden gemeld aan de verhuurder. - De huurder is aansprakelijk voor schade veroorzaakt door hemzelf of zijn gezelschap. 🔑 Overig - Het gebruik van open vuur, vuurwerk of barbecues is alleen toegestaan op aangewezen plekken. - Parkeren uitsluitend op de daarvoor bestemde plaatsen. - Het niet naleven van deze regels kan leiden tot beëindiging van de huurovereenkomst zonder restitutie.
